Just wanted to drop a quick line to let everyone know that I haven’t fallen off the face of the planet, although I do find myself in an abyss of busyness. At work, I’m writing and recording 2 months worth of radio shows between now and next week, my kids started school, which apparently when you are in 1st and 2nd grade means that you need to have and hour and a half of homework every night, and my daughter Riley celebrated her 8th birthday. We had her party last weekend at the Ice Den (ice scating) and so I have several bruises where the sun-don’t-shine that I am recovering from.
Also, my daughter and I recieved a new sewing machine for our birthdays, and we have committed to doing a little sewing each day, as well as taking a few classes that Viking offers at Joanne’s. If you read this post about my last machine, you know that it drove me to drink. I can’t tell you what a huge difference this new machine makes to my enjoyment of sewing. I will post pics of some of my creations soon.
So, you can discontinue the missing person investigation because I’m just fine. I’ll be catching a boat back from the abyss soon!
